I
For startup founders

Your customers deserve more than a demo.

Get your idea into production quickly, on a foundation built to last.

A prototype can prove an idea is worth pursuing. It cannot, by itself, give customers a system they can trust with their identity, payments, data, and daily work.

Functory builds the production system with you. Sign-in, payments, workflows, search, and the operations behind them already exist, so the engagement goes on your domain, your customer experience, and the reason your company should exist.

II
The third path

Build the company, not the vendor stack.

Most early teams face the same bad choice: spend months building the foundation, or assemble a dozen SaaS products and inherit the glue between them. Functory is a third path.

Start beyond the basics

Compose proven capabilities instead of rebuilding identity, permissions, billing, notifications, audit trails, and operational plumbing.

Keep the product yours

Your brand, domain model, customer experience, and differentiated logic sit on top of the platform.

Run in your AWS account

Your data and infrastructure stay under your control, and AWS bills you directly.

Operate one system

Monitor, patch, and scale one coherent stack instead of tracing failures across vendor consoles.

Keep the exit open

We can operate the system, or transfer it with the documentation, runbooks, and training your engineers need.

III
The outcome

What changes for the founder.

More time on customers

Early engineering effort goes toward the problem, the experience, and the learning loop.

A stronger technical story

Investors, hires, and customers see clear architecture, data ownership, operating responsibility, and a credible path beyond the prototype.

Less accumulated glue

Common capabilities share one model for data, access, and events instead of being synchronized after the fact.

A foundation that keeps going

Extend with events, webhooks, integrations, and your own services when the product needs them. The platform speeds up the start without capping the ambition.

IV
After launch

After launch, we keep it running.

Most early teams cannot cover on-call support, maintenance, and cost control alongside product work. Under Operate, that responsibility is ours, so your engineers can stay focused on the roadmap and the system is supported from your first customer onward.

Built in from day one

  • Monitoring on every request
  • Audit trail of every change
  • Point-in-time recovery for 35 days
  • Controlled releases
  • Traffic protection
  • Privacy request handling

When we operate it

  • On-call cover and incident response
  • Platform upgrades, security patches, infrastructure maintenance
  • Quarterly architecture and cost review
  • Continued feature delivery against your roadmap
  • Air-gapped and GovCloud deployment options
  • A defined exit, whenever you want to take it in-house

Prefer to run it yourselves? We transfer it with runbooks, documentation, and training, and the system keeps running. How Operate works

V
The path

From first conversation to production.

  1. 01

    Discovery

Maps the domain, architecture, platform fit, required extensions, delivery sequence, and expected running costs. You leave with a plan and a build quote, whether or not you continue with us.

  2. 02

    Build

Takes the product from domain model to running system in your AWS account. The platform handles the common mechanics; custom engineering handles what makes the business different.

  3. 03

    Operate or transfer

Your decision. We can run it and keep delivering your roadmap, or hand it to your team, and you can revisit that choice as the company grows.

A strong fit for

SaaS products, marketplaces, booking businesses, membership platforms, commerce and subscription experiences, learning products, and workflow-heavy applications.

Coda

Start with a conversation, not a contract.

Spend thirty minutes with the engineers who would do the work. Tell us what you are building. We will tell you what it takes, what Functory already solves, and whether we are the right team for it.
